In the concert series “Berlin Meets Los Angeles in Concert”, the Villa Aurora documented for the first time the working methods and influence of nearly all the composers among its former stipend recipients. The compositions donated by former Villa Aurora composers and auctioned in Berlin’s town hall on December 12, 2003, to benefit the Villa were also premiered in the series. They are documented on the present CD.
