Agostino Di Scipio, born 1962, began his career as a self-taught musician and later studied composition and electronic music at the Conservatory of L’Aquila. Fields of work: composition, research in computer music and in analysis and theory of musical-technological developments. His compositions often work with networks of acoustical real-time interactions among performers, machines and environments. Di Scipio has held grants from the DAAD and been guest artist and guest professor at various institutions in Europe and North America. He is Professor of Electronic Music at the Conservatory of Naples.
