Ian Willcock, born 1959 in London; studied composition with David Lumsdaine at King’s College London, 1982–84. Studied electronic music with Jonathan Harvey at the Dartington Summer School and others. Selected for a PRS Foundation award at the Royal Over-Seas League International Composition Competition, 1991. Residence at Schloss Solitude, 1992. Lecturer at the Darmstädter Ferienkurse, 1994 and 1996. PhD researcher in multimedia and live performance at the Institute of Creative Technologies, De Montfort University, Leicester.
