At the age of five, Maria Reiter discovered both reading and the accordion. Influenced by both, she has been drawn ever since to music that speaks as well as speech that is musical. The versatility of her instrument combined with her virtuosity have led to diverse and inspiring collaborations with artists from many different fields.
