Ottaviucci, Fabrizio
Fabrizio Ottaviucci studied pianoforte and composition at the Conservatorio of Pesaro. He has received numerous nominations and awards for his piano performances, and has played hundreds of concerts in the most important Italian and German cities, also touring Spain, England, the United States, Mexico, Canada, and India. Of particular notice is Ottaviucci’s activity in contemporary music, which has led him to collaborations with some of the most prestigious contemporary music performers in the world, amongst whom are Rohan de Saram, Francesco Dillon, Mario Caroli, Manuel Zurria, Tara Bouman, Mike Svoboda, Aldo Campagnari. For decades he has worked closely with Markus Stockhausen and Stefano Scodanibbio, and has produced recordings for ECM, CMP, Amiata, Splash R, Wisteria, Aktivraum, and Stradivarius. Ottaviucci’s concerts have been broadcasted by Radio Tre and other Italian, German, and Mexican radio stations. He lives in Assisi, where he is director of the “laboratorio di musica intuitive” (workshop for intuitive music) project.
