Omar Ebrahim was born in 1956 in Greasbrough, England. Vocal training at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Acting training with the Royal Shakespeare Company and the Glyndebourne Chorus. Appearances have included the Glyndebourne Festival Opera, London’s Royal Opera House and Southbank Centre, the Munich Biennale, Tanglewood, the Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival and the Salzburg Festival. Has worked with Ensemble Intercontemporain, the Camerata Salzburg und the BBC Symphony Orchestra, among others.
