Sachse, Sigrid

Sigrid Sachse studied with Prof. Günter Ludwig at the music academy in Cologne and with Prof. Edmundo Lasheras at the Detmold music academy. She has attended numerous piano and chamber music master classes given by Edith Picht-Axenfeld, Tiny Wirtz, Paul Meisen, and Siegfried Palm, among others. She concertises as a soloist as well as in various chamber music constellations: for example, in the Duo Descartes with the flutist Martin Becker. Her interests lie particularly in the areas of composition and improvisation, which also influence her musical work with children.
