Stefan Hussong (b. 1962 in Köllerbach, Saar): Accordionist; 1987: first prize in the International Gaudeamus Interpreters Competition for contemporary music; 1999: Echo Klassik Preis of the Deutsche Phonoakademie; more than thirty CDs released on DENON, Thorofon, WERGO, EMI, and other labels. Premieres of more than a hundred works dedicated to him; collaboration with Ensemble Intercontemporain, the Berlin Symphonic, the Vienna Philharmonic, the Rundfunk Sinfonieorchester Saarbrücken, the Tokyo Sinfonietta, and the Tokyo Shin Nippon Orchestra and Ensemble Modern, among others; professor for accordion and chamber music at the Musikhochschule Würzburg.
