Zane Zilberte studied cello and choral singing as well as conducting and was the conductor of the Women’s Choir Ausma and a male vocal group in Indianapolis, where she lived and worked from 2001 to 2004 and where she also sang in the chamber choirs Ave Sol and Cantabile. Since 2006, she has been the conductor of the mixed choir at the Riga Stradins university. She sings as a mezzo-soprano in Latvija.
